Checkmate Acid & Moisture Detector Tubes

The Acid level of refrigerant gas is measured independently. Knowing the purity of refrigerant is vital information for every service technician. The technician needs to know if the refrigerant can be (1) immediately reused, (2) needs to be cleaned-up, (3) contaminated beyond reclaiming capabilities, or (4) failed to be properly cleaned during a reclaiming process. If the gas contains acid, the moisture detector tube will stain along a graduated scale calibrated in parts per million. Detector tubes are calibrated to ARI Standards. The inline test provides quick accurate results within minutes and can prevent system failure by giving the technician positive results for moisture. The Checkmate method is the industries only valid field test for measuring acid and moisture levels in both the compressor oil and any refrigerant gas.
